Temple, Texas – What a memorable experience here in this lovely cabin. We celebrated Thanksgiving. We feasted our eyes on the beauty of Colorado. Excellent fireplace!

Carrollton, Missouri – The views from the deck were majestic. I enjoyed reading the cabin owners books also. We found peace, solitude, blessings and an opportunity to have fun with family.

Williamsburg, Iowa – We had a wonderful time. We felt at home and it was so cozy. We had everything we needed. We’d love to come back!

Minneapolis, Minnesota: Conquered Colorado on the list of places I need to see. Afraid now the rest will fall to the wayside the next time I want to travel. What a beautiful sight, and this cabin. I now understand Hermits better; we didn't want to leave. Thank you so much for opening your home to us. You can really feel the presence of family here.

Kingwood, Texas: Thank you for allowing us into your home. Allenspark and all the surrounding areas are heavenly relaxing. Everything was perfect about being here.

Lincoln, Nebraska: A book, some music and the views - what a way to get away. Fall foliage and perfect weather.

Aberdeen, South Dakota: Christmas 2004 goes down as one of our very best! We enjoyed the cabin and the view!

Buddies from Chicago, Cleveland, Qatar, Dallas, Boulder and Iowa: What a wonderful place you have here. Warm nights by the fireplace and a comfortable, soft bed for all! The second morning we woke up early and headed toward the boulder field. We set up our tents and climbed the ridge between Mt. Lady Washington and Long's Peak and found some spectacular views of Chasm Lake and the East Face of Long's. Then the fun began. The winds picked up and we were snowed on and rained on. A brief pause enabled us to enjoy a warm dinner of tuna and noodles. But as we set in for the night, the winds went out of control and destroyed our tents. Our party was nearly decimated by fever, altitude sickness and scurvy. Okay, I made up the scurvy. But we slept not a wink and headed back down at first light. I think we will all survive. Fortunately this wonderful cabin was waiting for us and took us back in with its warm, comforting arms.
